The RLAO works with members of the legislature to modernize Oklahoma’s alcohol laws — with a balance of convenience and public safety. Below is what we are watching, fighting, and refusing to give away.
That gap is not a historical curiosity. It is a competitive rule written into Title 37A. Liquor stores close Thanksgiving and Christmas; grocery beer sets do not. Sunday package-store sales remain a county option. The RLAO does not chase convenience for its own sake — we chase a fair chance to serve the same customer the law already lets a gas station serve until 2 a.m.
